student bio

Armando Gonzalez-Dorta was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. He and his family moved to Colorado in 2009, due to the harsh economic and political situations in the country, along with the danger. Armando had always been interested in the fields of movies and videogames, specifically regarding characters, so by the time he graduated from high school in the US, he started looking for a school that would offer programs in such fields.

After some time of looking around and researching, Armando decided to join the UCD DAC program, as this was the most fitting. After 4 years in the program, he has learned many skills which will be invaluable within the industry, for example, how a pipeline works, knowledge in highly used software’s like Zbrush and Maya, teamwork within production, and proper topology flow in 3-D models.
