Garrett grew up just outside of Wichita, Kansas, and studied architecture at Kansas State University. A desire to have a career that combines both art and technology led him to animation. Garrett moved to Denver in 2013 to study at the University of Colorado in Denver. He now specializes in texturing and shading, but enjoys most aspects of computer graphics.
In 2016, Garrett was the look development intern at the Walt Disney Animation Studios. Outside of school and work, his favorite hobby is rock climbing – both indoors and outside. Upon graduating, Garrett hopes to continue a career in feature animation.
