DIGITAL DESIGN

student bio

I am a 22-year-old creative that hails from a background of skateboarding, hardcore street graffiti, and cinematography (I almost degree in film while still in high school); I never took a formal art class until I started my college career. Since then I’ve gone through a lot to get to this point in my life as a professional designer.

Since studying at UCD, I’ve moved on to working in digital and print mediums, gaining an interest in UI and Branding. In 2013, I started my own clothing line, Low Key Industries, and have since been self-taught in garment design and manufacturing, I continue to expand my scope of work and expertise.

I’ve been interested in fashion for as long as I’ve been in graphic design. As a person who both creates and collects garments, I bounce around many platforms to get my fashion fix. Sites like Reddit, Grailed.com, Ebay, and other marketplaces are all bookmarked and frequently used, but I realized there was nothing on the market that truly satisfied my needs simultaneously. I decided to attack the problem with a user experience that catered to people the same way a person stylist would, quite literally.

Integrating a chatbot as a key feature to personalize each user’s experience, I aim to create an app that allows people who are both simply intrigued by style to full-blown collectors of clothing to consolidate their style inspirations into one place. Integrating features such as facial-recognition, AI, a virtual closet, and virtual mood boards, I intend on changing the way people see their clothes and the way they dress from something casual to something they genuinely take pride in.
